The Cider House is 4 miles from the thriving, creative and vibrant market town of Bridport and another mile from there to West Bay and access to The Jurassic Coast - England's only natural World Heritage Site. Located in the middle of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty it provides a wonderful bolthole from where to explore the surrounding countryside and coast.

Bridport is a wonderful place for food and drink fans and exceptional for lovers of antique or vintage styles with a wide array of shops from high end antiques through vintage, retro and shabby chic dealers in The Alleyways to a wide array of well-stocked charity shops and a weekly market.

West Bay is Bridport’s own mini seaside town. Home to the stunning cliffs recently featured in the TV series Broadchurch it is a great place to access the coast and is also rapidly catch up on the local area food scene with some fantastic places to eat and some of the best ice cream (sorry…gelato!) that we have found anywhere in the world.

Lyme Regis, just a 15 min drive from Bridport, combines seaside style with a stunning coastal setting and a long history as a key centre for fossil hunting in the UK.
